Talks and workshops for organizations, communities and clubs
On hiring in the age of AI, AI in plain language, and getting through life's hard stretches.

On stage

What I talk about
Hiring and work in the age of AI
Why hiring broke, and what to do about it on Monday morning.
Who it's for, and what you'll take away
AI was supposed to make hiring easier. It made it harder. This talk explains why, and what employers and job seekers can do about it right now.
Who it's for: Managers, business owners and HR teams, and any community that wants to understand what's happening in the world of work.
- Why the resume stopped working on both sides: when everyone sounds the same, you can't see the person.
- From my own research: across 141 real job postings in the US and Europe, 81% never say what success in the role looks like.
- One question to ask in every hire, and what job seekers can do tomorrow: "What does success in this role look like after six months?"
The talk is interactive. The audience answers, raises hands and talks back.
AI in plain language
What AI actually does, what it doesn't, and why it matters to all of us. No jargon.
Who it's for, and what you'll take away
Everyone talks about AI. Few people explain what it is. What these tools do, what they don't, and how they touch our lives. No jargon, no scare stories.
Who it's for: Community groups, cultural programs and libraries that want to understand the technology, and teams that want a hands-on workshop.
- What it really is: a simple explanation of what happens when you talk to AI, without technical terms.
- What it can and can't do, and how to spot it being confidently wrong.
- I built three hiring tools with almost no code. I'll show you one of them working.
Workshop version for teams: we practice the right order for working with AI on a real task from your team.
When you get stuck: pressure, burnout and starting over
What happens when you get stuck, and how you keep going.
Who it's for, and what you'll take away
An honest conversation about getting stuck and moving forward, drawn from my Hebrew-language book, The Red Button.
Who it's for: Organizations, communities, cultural programs and any audience that wants a real conversation about pressure, burnout and starting over.
- How to tell when pushing harder helps, and when it burns something.
- The difference between a challenge that grows you and a war of attrition.
- Why career success and life success are two different things.
Tell me who the audience is and what you want them to leave with, and I'll build a talk around it. It starts with a 20-minute call.
Topics I build around: hiring and careers, practical AI at work, AI in plain language, entering the US market, and resilience.
What people say
Translated from Hebrew.
"The talk was short and precise, and it got its messages across clearly and convincingly. The audience was captivated, and I was glad I came."
"Sun gave us a practical, engaging workshop on AI and presentation design, down to earth and with tools we could take straight back to work. Less theory, real practice. Highly recommended!"
"I attended Sun's talk and got real professional value from it. Beyond the content itself, which was focused and practical, Sun also made time after the talk to respond personally, go over my resume and suggest precise, practical changes."
